From 1st January, companies placing parts classed as safety components on the UK market have numerous responsibilities for their compliance. The Shorts team have ensured that we are meeting these new obligations so that we can continue to supply our customers in a legally compliant way.
We continue to meet the highest standards of safety and compliance to protect our customers and the wider public. This work will limit the risk of impacts on the supply chain where parts become unavailable due to lack of appropriate compliance documentation.
During 2021 there will be further changes in respect of the conformity markings and how these are displayed and managed. We can assure you that Shorts is investing in this area to make our customers lives easier.
