Opened in November 1878, Leeds Grand Theatre at a cost of £62,000, was designed during a backlash against the so-called “common” entertainment of the music halls and without modern disabled access in mind. However, after a multi-million pound refurbishment package covering disabled access and facilities Leeds Grand Theatre have made substantial improvements for it’s patrons.
