1) Promoter: Shorts Industries Ltd (Shorts), 6 Station Road, Bradford BD1 4SF.
2) Shorts’ Summer Football Challenge Competition (Competition) is open to persons aged 18 or over who are employees of Lift Installation or Service companies, self-employed Lift Engineers or Lift Consultants based within the UK and Ireland only (Players). Employees of companies based outside the UK and Ireland are not eligible to enter.
3) Shorts reserves the right to verify Players’ identities and eligibility in accordance with paragraph 2 above.
4) Players must complete registration via the Competition sign-up page at www.shorts-lifts.co.uk/summer-football-challenge before being eligible to participate.
5) Employees of Shorts, its agencies, their immediate family members, or anyone professionally connected with the Competition may enter but will not be eligible to win a prize.
6) By entering the Competition, all Players shall be deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions.
7) Shorts shall use and take care of any personal information supplied in accordance with its Privacy Policy and applicable data protection legislation. By entering the Competition, Players acknowledge that Shorts may process their personal information for the administration of the Competition and to contact them regarding their entry. Where permitted under applicable law and Shorts’ legitimate interests as a B2B/B2T supplier to the lift industry, contact details may also be used for relevant marketing communications. Players may opt out of marketing communications at any time.
8) Shorts Summer Football Challenge Wall Charts are only available to registered Players while promotional stocks last and are limited to one per person.
9) This Competition is limited to one entry per person. The use of multiple identities, email addresses, or entries submitted on behalf of another person is not permitted and may result in disqualification.
10) Predictions relate to the score at the end of normal playing time only and exclude extra time and penalty shootouts. Players will earn points as follows:
i) Correct Score Prediction: 10 Points
ii) Correct Result Prediction (Win, Loss or Draw): 4 Points
iii) Incorrect Prediction: 0 Points
11) Shorts accepts no responsibility for lost, delayed, misdirected or incomplete entries due to technical or other reasons beyond its reasonable control. Proof of submission does not constitute proof of receipt.
12) The Competition will run from Thursday, 11th June 2026, to Sunday, 19th July 2026.
13) Predictions for each match must be submitted before the scheduled kick-off time.
14) The Competition will consist of six rounds corresponding to the stages of the tournament and prediction windows published on the Competition website.
15) Rounds One to Five will each include a prize draw. All eligible Players who have correctly predicted at least one result during the applicable round will automatically be entered into that round’s prize draw.
16) The grand prize winner will be the eligible Player with the highest total points score at the end of the Competition. In the event of a tie, the Player with the highest number of correct score predictions will be deemed the winner. If a tie still remains, the winner will be selected at random from the tied Players.
17) Shorts accepts no responsibility for any costs associated with a Prize that are not expressly included as part of the Prize.
18) Winner(s) will be notified by email and must provide a valid postal address where required to claim their Prize. If a winner does not respond within 7 days of notification, Shorts reserves the right to withdraw the Prize and select an alternative winner in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
19) Prizes may be delivered by post, courier or email, depending on the nature of the Prize.
20) Leaderboards and winner announcements may display Players’ names, company names, scores and general locations throughout the Competition at: www.shorts-lifts.co.uk/summer-football-challenge-winners and www.shorts-lifts.co.uk/summer-football-challenge-ranking
21) The prizes are non-exchangeable, non-transferable and not redeemable for cash. Prize breakdown:
i) £300 Gift Voucher (x1 winner)

iii) Toptro 4K Projector (x1 winner)
iv) Holy Stone GPS Drone with Camera (x1 winner)

22) Shorts reserves the right to substitute any Prize with another of equal or greater value where circumstances outside its reasonable control make this necessary.
23) Prizes will normally be dispatched within 30 days of winner confirmation.
24) Winners may be requested to participate in reasonable promotional activity relating to the Competition. By entering the Competition, winners agree that Shorts may use their name, company name, general location and photographs for promotional purposes connected with the Competition without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.
25) Shorts reserves the right to disqualify any Player or entry where it reasonably believes there has been a breach of these Terms and Conditions, use of multiple identities, manipulation of the Competition, or conduct contrary to the spirit of the Competition.
26) Shorts accepts no responsibility for any loss, damage, liability, injury or disappointment suffered as a result of entering the Competition or accepting a Prize, except where caused by the negligence of Shorts. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
27) Shorts reserves the right to amend, suspend or cancel the Competition where it becomes necessary to do so due to circumstances outside its reasonable control.
28) Shorts shall not be liable for any failure to fulfil its obligations where such failure is caused by events outside its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, fire, flood, severe weather, industrial dispute, war, civil unrest or changes in law or regulation.
29) This Competition is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with FIFA or the FIFA World Cup.
30) The Competition and these Terms and Conditions shall be governed by English law, and entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
