A Day of Celebrations and Goodbyes

Thursday 12th September 2019 was a day of mixed emotions for the employees of Shorts. After years of planning and months of hard work, Shorts were able to officially celebrate their move to bigger and better premises. The day also saw the retirement of longstanding Managing Director, Paul Welsby after 26 years of service. Officially opening the building was the Lord Mayor of Bradford, councillor Doreen Lee, Shorts’ Group Chairman, Donald Fothergill, alongside incoming Managing Director, Robert Sykes and Shorts staff new and old.
