The A4 works on the self-sustaining screw and nut principle, which means that the safety is extremely high. The lift is mounted as a self-supporting shaft with a built-in guide rail, which means that it can be installed directly on the ground floor. No digging or casting is necessary. The design does not burden surrounding walls or stairs by vertical force.
The power used to run an A4 is low compared to other lifts. It requires only a minimum of service and maintenance which ensures a low total life cycle cost. Everything is placed and designed for easy usage, making the lift safe and practical. The new design allows several options, both in regards to number of stops and door placements as well as glass shafts, powered doors, telephone options, platform sizes etc. Only a minimum of preparatory work is needed prior to installing an A4 and all parts required come with the lift. It is also quick to install and could, for example, be installed at a school during a school holiday. The A4 shaft takes up a minimal area of the building which is crucial when space is a premium. It is as well suited for a person sitting in a wheelchair as a person standing, due to the sturdy handrail which the lift is equipped with. The non-slip floor and sensitive edges provide added safety. The platform and safety barriers fold and unfold automatically. The lift provides you with excellent safety with a safety gear and surrounding barriers. When the Roll On Compact is not in use, the platform is folded up against the wall providing free passage. This is an excellent solution, especially in narrow stairways. The lift, in its folded position only takes up 23 cm of space from the wall. The Roll On Compact is easily and safely installed because of its well-planned mounting system on pillars or directly on a wall.
