Shorts introduce the DMG Lift Controller & Pre-wired Lift Electrical System to the UK lift industry
Shorts have a long standing partnership with DMG, and so the DMG 'Playboard 3' lift controller was a natural addition to the Shorts component range.
The lift controller now in it's third release is a sophisticated 32 bit controller, available from Shorts at an amazingly low price.
The system offers two options for installation; screw terminals for hand wiring or pre-wired as part of the complete DMG pre-wired lift electrical system.
Shorts can now offer a replacement lift controller and fixtures to match any requirements;
• Hard Wired or Pre Wired Controller up to 38 floors
• Traction: Geared VVVF, Gearless or 2 Speed Up to 37 kW
• Hydraulic: All Brands, Conventional or VVVF
• Sophisticated 32 bit microprocessor with software & firmware updates via. SD card
The pre-wired technology and plug and play connectors of the DMG “Pitagora” pre-wired lift electrical system ensure quick and error free installation. The system can be completely integrated with the DMG “Playboard 3” controller and DMG range of push buttons and indicators for a complete turnkey lift refurbishment solution.
Key Features of the DMG 'Playboard 3' Lift Controller:
• The market leading Fuji FrenicLift Drive is incorporated on the traction Geared & Gearless VVVF controller
• Available in conventional or MRL arrangements
• An emergency backup system is available as an option which provides battery backup for the inverter in the event of a power failure, this allows the lift to run to an appropriate floor and open the lift doors allowing any trapped passengers to exit the lift car
• Available with scew terminals for hard wiring or with plug and play connections for integration with the DMG “Pitagora” complete pre wired lift electrical wiring system
• Firmware Updates via standard SD card
• Free Firmware updates when additional functions are added
• Save and Upload parameter sets via standard SD card
• Dupex, Triplex and Quadruplex installations are no problem for the playboard controller
• Most parameters are selectable and can be altered onboard, for example number of floors.
